Using the Chandra X-ray Telescope,scientists have discovered a chimney and exhaust vent 26,000 light years from Earth.The structures are in the center of the Milky Way and perpendicular to its spiral arms.Exhaust from the Milky Way's centrally located supermassive black hole,Saggitarius A*/Sgr A*,may be behind the formation of these structures and other massive galactic structures.*Cosmology is the study of the origin of the universe and its structures.
