Details about XPoSat:The satellite will carry out research in space-based polarisation measurements of X-ray emissions from celestial sources,including neutron stars and black holes.It will carry out long-term spectral and temporal studies of cosmic X-ray sources.It was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota,India on 1 January 2024.
