Hubble Sees Red Supergiant Star Betelgeuse Slowly Recovering After Blowing Its Top: Analyzing data from NASA's Hubble Space Telescope and several other observatories, astronomers have concluded that the bright red supergiant star Betelgeuse quite literally blew its top in 2019.
