Soyuz MS 26 Launch Day Highlights - Sept. 11, 2024

On 11 SEPT 2024 the Soyuz MS 26 mission launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.On board were NASA Flight Engineer Don Pettit,Roscosmos Commander Alexei Ovchinin and Roscosmos Flight Engineer Ivan Wagner.At the conclusion of the sixth month mission,Flight Engineer Pettit will be second only to Former NASA Astronaut Peggy Whitson in total number of days in space by an American.Whitson is now with Axiom Space.
