NASA Remembers Apollo 8 Astronaut Bill Anders

Apollo 8 was the first journey to the Moon,scouting out lunar landing sites and testing hardware.Apollo 8 crew member William Anders has died at the age of 90.An Air Force officer and nuclear engineer,he went on to head the Nuclear Regulatory Agency and served as US Ambassador to Norway.He took the iconic Earthrise photo on Apollo 8.
