Status Check:Soyuz Spacecraft Leak

At this time,no decision about the viability of the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft that sprung a coolant leak last night has been made.Last night,Roscosmos Cosmonaut Anna Kikina carefully surveyed the Soyuz with the European Robotic Arm camera.It is believed the leak sprung from an external coolant source on the Soyuz.The Roscosmos engineers will review the survey data gathered in accordance with their policies and procedures.Then Roscosmos and NASA will jointly decide whether the Soyuz is fit to transport two of the three cosmonauts currently on the ISS,along with NASA Astromaut Frank Rubio,back to Earth at the designated time.Alternatively,a second Soyuz could be launched from Baikanur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to replace the leaky one.
